Mad Cabal disease which seemed to be waning in Ruston has reappeared and RUSTON TRUTH feels it imperative to warn citizens. There was a serious outbreak at this council meeting where 55 minutes were spent floundering, ranting and raving, interrupting, agreeing to be disagreeable, and just being obnoxious with blurred, steely, staring eyes. Remember when a flounder was a fish? Now it is a cabal, evolution doesn't always get it right. The main warning sign though is memory loss leading to total confusion where everything is put off until tomorrow. It is also known to cause head tilt and whispering into the air out of recorder range. The only known antidote is to pray and hope for the always fleeting best.

Mesmerizing, same O same O, chasing their evil tail, 54 minutes of obfuscation under the evil eye of lawyer Dan. Dan with years of legal training is able to keep one eye on the public while the other eye is ever weary of his weird cabal council members. Stay the course, toe the line or Dan will lean back and chastise you. You also get a red devil. The weird council (TNT) gets weirder. After almost three years they still haven't passed go. Beleaguered and totally confused they ramble and ramble on. Still parked on start with full brake pedal engaged. Don't build in Cabalia, don't block a caballer's view, even if a microscopic one. It all boiled down to whether the near beer view of one resident could stop a major development in its tracks causing major economic and financial losses to the town. Never mind a lawsuit. This is SOP in the cabal.
From the June 27th Public Hearing it in regard to the proposed VIEW CORRIDOR it was reported dedications had to have reasonable impact with mitigating circumstances. In a CAMAS lawsuit open space was found to be unlawful and unreasonable. In BATTLEGROUND street frontage expenditures were found to be not related to the development. The story of STACK HILL is a story of views significantly improved with the elevation on lot twelve dropped over 20 feet. STACK HILL has provided major growth management infill. In summary, a view corridor cannot be a burden to the development but must provide a benefit to the development and the general populace not just one person.
This proposed view corridor has only one neighbor who claims a loss because he can no longer see the scrub trees on the adjoining protected hillside. They may push this through, the caballeros, but they are getting horrific legal advice, or maybe they just don't care. There will be a lawsuit against the town and the town will lose!!!
Forgive my rambling thoughts but this is utterly mind blowing. Two and one half years of hearings, committees, meetings shot to hell. Although the final vote was 3-2 (Hunt, Albertson and Stebner voting NO, Hedrick, Huson affirmative) it was merely for show, decided beforehand in a secret cabal meeting place. Residents of Ruston are not invited to the cabal planning sessions. There was momentary panic when Jane forgot to follow the script but Dan quickly straightened her out. Out of recorder range you bet.
Huson may have been fronting so the auditor/lawyers wouldn't see the automatic 4-1 (Hedrick) vote. Anyway he got his nose caught in the grinder while Jane made weak feints of support in a slapstick motion demotion, confused style. Pandering, that is all it amounted to, while the victim (Mike Cohen) is expecting sanity and fairness. Forget it Mike, this could go on forever, remember Lucy, file your lawsuit and spare us any further show trials and debasement of what was once a proud Town. If Brad is serious I will owe him a significant mea culpa but I will no longer kick the football.
This was so serious for the cabal, Dan was whispering to Jane during public comments supporting STACK HILL Whispering, imagine that, the nerve, cost the Town Attorney her job. Apparently they are getting some very bad legal advice not in the town's interest. And whiny Wayne invoking the past street that was platted there but never improved because of the 500' smoke stack on the Smelter property. Wayne's theory you may now own it but I will tell you where to put it. According to Wayne the town would be adding value by not taking away value.
Notice how EXECUTIVE SESSION - potential litigation has become a staple on the agenda. The lawsuits are piling up, get in line: Commencement (Ballet Lawsuit) town lost estimated cost $70,000. Point Defiance Casino filed today, Police Chief claim filed, UNICORN next target, and the whopper, Mike Cohen vs. The Town of Ruston.
These, cabal council, are evil minded people with only one myopic goal in mind, bankrupt the Town of Ruston and have it annexed to Tacoma. Secret annexation meetings disclosed, secret fire department meetings disclosed, both stopped in their tracks. On to oblivion, time after time they seem to come to their senses only to blow off the town's interest in favor of what? We need to get answers I am afraid time is running out. We get two minutes they have had two years.
If we don't get the opportunity this year to vote these people out and start over with Jim Hedrick we must, must start a RECALL movement to save our sanity or we will descend to the depths of inanity where we will join the cabal. God forgive.
