THE GRUDGES

From the front row Ruston Council meeting 1-7-08:
It is difficult to figure out the true intentions of the Tacoma Cabal. They seem to have one common theme and that is grudges against the people and the Town of Ruston. Dan a very truculent grudge against the Mayor, Wayne against the Fire Chief, Bradley against the Commencement Group and the Point Defiance Casino, and Bob against the world, especially the Ruston part of it. California when are you going back? They all profess to love small town living while doing everything in their power to destroy it and the laid back atmosphere that existed here for 100 years before the arrival of the CABAL.
Remember Tacoma Wayne in his meeting to turn Ruston over to Tacoma stated he would bring 9-11 people. Isn't that the total population of the CABAL? In his "looking forward to meeting you" letter to Tacoma Mayor Baarsma newly elected Wayne stated: "a group of us got together this evening to frame some questions for our discussion". Numero uno, number one from newly elected Wayne and his group: WHAT IS THE PROCESS FOR ANNEXATION?
They are very open about their violations of the OPEN MEETING ACT conducting all the town's business in secret meetings or by e-mail. I thought this would end when an Officer of the Court was appointed to the CABAL council but apparently they seem to think they are bullet proof.
Logic, forget it: the latest off the wall antic, open warfare with the Commencement Group over the sales room. They, in a moment of idiocy turned down an offer of $24,000 dollars in rent for 2007 and now must budget an additional $15,000 to defend an "Unlawful Detainer" lawsuit brought by the Commencement Group. Taxpayers of Ruston the bill to-date is $49,000 dollars and there are more lawsuits in the near future if they follow through on their pledges. Even more astonishing the Commencement Group has a 500 year lease on part of the school which would serve the Town's interest to buy out. My idea: let's buy out the CABAL!
Looking forward in my crystal ball I see in the swirling sand a distinct word: RECALL.
