Yet another coincidence

Last attempt at a council meeting failed miserably. Several totally unconnected and entirely coincidental things happened all at the same time.

Two of the council's male members sick out simultaneously. Coincidence?

Two, at least, of their most fervent supporters, promoters, ghost writers, pushers, also do not show up at the meeting.

Are they in close contact and spreading germs? Are they not washing their hands? Do they not have adequate sterilization for shared invasive procedure devices?

Are they out for a fitting of stylish antiballistic clothing?

Am I paranoid or just crazy?

I can answer yes to the last anyway.
